Crochet Renee'

Meet Betelgeuse...my father's Jacob ram. He and his family help provide us with wonderful colored and white wool. The Jacob sheep is an ancient breed and gets its name from the story in the Bible about Jacob and his father-in-law, Laban. Check out the book of Genesis. You will notice that Betelgeuse has four horns...that's right, four. Jacob's are one of the breeds which are polycerate, meany "many horned".

Welcome to Crochet Renee'! I am a fiber artist and crochet designer. God has blessed me with many talents and has allowed me to express myself through the fiber arts. I like to spin, knit, dye and crochet fibers of all types. You can also view my published designs here and find out where to get them. As the site develops, I plan to post free patterns on here as well. I hope all you fiber-holics will visit often and enjoy seeing what's new! So grab a cup of something hot and kick back and enjoy your visit to my virtual studio!

Click on the picture of the book above to find out how to get it from Amazon. That's my Baby Bunny Hat in the lower left hand corner. You'll notice when you go to Amazon that there is a different picture...the editor made a last minute decision to change that picture....lucky for me! Does this mean I'm a cover girl?!?!?!?!

Here is a picture of my recent Grand Prize winning entry in the Crochet Guild of America's annual design contest. Stay tuned...I should have pictures from the catwalk soon! To read more about it, click on the blog link on the right.

I was told by Vashti Braha and Doris Chan that iit literally floated down the runway and was "ethereal"! Many thanks to Kimberly McAlinden for modeling it!
